# Environment dashboard

Web UI for investigating and exploring a running Cyoda environment — workflows, entity instances, reporting, and processing.

Repository: [github.com/Cyoda/cyoda-env-dashboard](https://github.com/Cyoda/cyoda-env-dashboard)

The environment dashboard is a general-purpose frontend for investigating and
exploring a Cyoda environment. It covers:

- workflows, state machines, and entity instances
- tasks
- reporting and the catalogue of aliases
- processing nodes and transitions
- Trino SQL schemas

Most functionality targets Cyoda Cloud environments. cyoda-go is also
supported, with a reduced feature set that is growing.

## Run it

The dashboard is a React + TypeScript pnpm monorepo. The deployable
application is `apps/saas-app`. It requires Node.js 22 or later and the pnpm
version pinned in the repository.

```bash
git clone https://github.com/Cyoda/cyoda-env-dashboard.git
cd cyoda-env-dashboard
corepack enable
pnpm install
pnpm dev
```

The dev server starts on `http://localhost:5173`. A VS Code Dev Container is
also provided if you prefer not to install the toolchain locally.

## Configuration

The app will not start until `apps/saas-app/.env` exists and sets
`VITE_APP_BASE_URL` to the base URL of the Cyoda environment. The dev
server proxies API calls (`/api`, `/platform-api`, `/platform-processing`,
`/platform-common`, `/auth`) to that environment.

Sign-in uses Auth0, configured through the `VITE_APP_AUTH0_*` variables.

The full environment reference is in `ENV_FILES_GUIDE.md` and
`apps/saas-app/README.md` in the repository. A mock backend under
`tools/backend-mock-server` is available for offline work.
